It does not negatively affect the performance of the loader. It has been cut so that it will sit as low as possible in a feedneck. Please note that the feedtube on this loader has been modified. Minus the back plate is clear instead of graphics. This Scion is a prototype that was used for on field testing 5 months before market release.
So about four cases of paintballs have ran through it. Empire Scion Paintball Loader- Black with Empire Quick Load Lid! NO RESERVE! Slightly used and in Excellent Condition! The loader has only seen a couple of days of practice.
